Committees

 

 

There are several ways to become involved with your Association.  Whether you choose to work directly or indirectly with a committee, you will receive the guidance and support you need.

 

Serving on a committee enables you to work with peers and build a better Association for everyone.
 
ADP has two types of committees:
 
Governance - Committees of the Board

    Finance
    Nominations
    Political Action (PAC)
    Strategic Planning

Standing - Committees of the Membership

    Gold Book
    New Media
    Marketing & Promotion
    Membership
    National Relations
    Partners
    Program
    Public Policy

Committee Composition

Each committee shall be composed of a chairperson, and not more than six (6) additional members, who shall serve at the invitation of the chairperson.

The chairperson may elect to invite Partner members of the Association to serve on any Standing Committee, providing that at any time at least two-thirds of the committee membership shall be comprised of Publisher members of the Association.
