Lifetime Achievement: The Wil Lewis Award

The Wil Lewis Award Program, established in 1993, is named in honor of the late Wilbur Lewis, founder of White Directory Publishers and three-time past ADP chairman. Wil Lewis guided more publishers on their paths to directory success than anyone in the Association’s proud history. Accordingly, ADP’s highest honor is presented in his name.

All nominations are reviewed by the Board prior to the Association’s annual meeting. A nominee must be approved by 75% of the Board of Directors to receive an award. Should this occur, the presentation is made at the annual meeting.

Our Association’s Highest Honor

The Wil Lewis Award, the Association’s highest honor, is bestowed on occasion by the Association at the discretion of its Board of Directors to a member company or to an individual representative in recognition and appreciation of exceptional lifetime contributions to the independent directory publishing industry and/or the effectiveness of the Association itself.
